Study Visa Requirements for Sweden

Pakistani students who plan to study in Sweden for more than 3 months must apply for a Swedish Residence Permit for Studies (commonly known as a study visa). Below are the general requirements:

Valid Passport
Must be valid for the entire duration of your studies.
Admission Letter

Proof of acceptance from a recognized Swedish university.

Proof of Financial Resources

You must show you can support yourself during your stay (currently around SEK 10,314 per month). Bank statements or scholarship confirmation are accepted.

Tuition Fee Payment
Proof of at least one semester’s tuition fee payment.
Health Insurance

Mandatory if your program is less than one year. For programs longer than a year, you’ll be covered by the Swedish national healthcare system.
